About the author
Richard Arthur was born in in India just before he and his soldier parents were ejected following independence in 1947. His earliest years were spent as a camp follower of the British Army, until his father retired to spend more time with his family. After Prep School in Buckingmamshire and Grammar School in South London. Richard spent six years studying mathematics at university, emerging with a PhD. Richard then spent three years as a lecturer before joining GCHQ. Since retiring from the day job he has maintained some academic links and consulted in Information Security. He still enjoys mathematical problems, but spends most of his time helping his local pub survive and growing fruit trees in rural Worcestershire. Twin Worlds and its companion works are his first foray into writing science fiction.
Richard is married and has a daughter and a grand-daughter.
